“Walking down to town / school from [Oriole Ave] feels dangerous. THERE IS NO SAFE WAY TO GO. People drive terrifyingly fast on Tanglewylde, Woodland, Hawthorn and Masterton. I would not feel comfortable letting my children walk to school without an adult.”

“We walk/bike all around town & in and out of neighborhoods. As you move away from the center of town the sidewalks seem narrow, uneven and at times nonexistent. This town is small and safe we all need to walk/bike more for the health of our bodies and planet. Being out of our cars also allows us as a community to interact as a community, as neighbors which will only grow our community stronger if we see one another more often. Human contact is key - being behind a car or phone is where what we need to avoid. I’m hoping all of Bronxville has safe & even sidewalks and bike lines all over town & in neighborhoods. We need to address the lack of street light, too. More lights is helpful, especially since our children walk most everywhere. It’s clear this town was set up to be a small walking community and it’s evident in the lack of parking all over. Let’s make the sidewalks wider and safer! Thank you.”
